Still on music appreciation, I think why Dewey Finn (Jack Black) from School of Rock is so lovable is not only because he's a simple-minded metalhead who thinks he can make it but also his appreciation for (good) music. He knows what's good for him. From the Ramones to Aretha Franklin. He's quite cool.
